Overview
The IPAF MEWPs for Managers course is designed to equip managers and supervisors with the knowledge and skills needed to safely manage and oversee the use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) on construction sites, maintenance tasks, and other work-at-height operations. This course focuses on ensuring that managers understand the responsibilities involved in planning, supervising, and implementing safe MEWP operations, as well as the potential hazards and how to mitigate them.
This comprehensive program provides participants with a solid foundation in the management of MEWP operations, including the legal requirements, risk assessments, and best practices for equipment selection, operator safety, and emergency procedures. By completing the course, managers will be able to effectively control MEWP usage on-site, ensuring the safety of operators and minimising the risk of accidents related to mobile access equipment.
