Overview

The IPAF Mast Climbing Work Platform (MCWP) Demonstrator course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to safely demonstrate the operation, setup, and safety features of MCWPs to end-users. This advanced course builds on operator training and emphasises communication, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment is used correctly on-site.

  • Experienced MCWP operators who wish to progress to the role of a demonstrator.
  • Personnel responsible for providing guidance and support to MCWP users.
  • Supervisors or site managers overseeing the use of MCWPs.

Certification & Assessment

Assessment: Candidates are assessed through a written theory test and practical demonstrations.

Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an IPAF MCWP Demonstrator Certificate and an IPAF PAL Card (Powered Access License) digitally via the IPAF ePAL app which is recognised internationally as proof of the demonstrators competence to safely familiarise users of MCWPs and is valid for 5 years.
