Certification & Assessment
Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, participants will be awarded the IPAF Hoist Competent Assessed Person (CAP) certification. This industry-recognised qualification is valid for five years, enabling participants to work confidently and safely with construction hoists across a range of settings.
Assessment: The course concludes with practical and written assessments, ensuring that participants fully understand the competencies required to carry out thorough examinations of hoists in accordance with LOLER 1998 requirements. The assessment will evaluate both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, confirming participants’ readiness to fulfil the role of a Competent Assessed Person.
