This accredited 1 day course provides learners with essential knowledge and practical guidance on the principles of safe manual handling. It includes both theoretical and practical elements to ensure learners understand how to lift, move, and handle loads safely, helping reduce the risk of injury.
Manual handling injuries are among the most common workplace incidents – this course helps employers meet their obligations under the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended).

Certification & Assessment
Assessment: Learners complete a short multiple-choice test and demonstrate safe lifting techniques during a practical assessment.
Certification: Successful candidates will receive the FAA Level 2 Award in Manual Handling – Principles and Practice, valid for 3 years and nationally recognised.
